Verizon nabs Samsung Continuum, Zeal and Motorola Citrus on November 11th, according to gushing leak?

Someone's found their way into an internal database and pulled out details on three Verizon phones -- the Samsung Continuum, Samsung Zeal and Motorola Citrus, all of which will reportedly drop on the 11th of next month. We don't have any reason to doubt that, as all three showed up on a recent rebate, but there's more to these leaked screens than a release date. For instance, the Continuum will apparently sport a Swype virtual keyboard on top of a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED screen, to say nothing of that secondary display, and the Motorola Citrus explicitly doesn't support tethering. The Samsung Zeal, meanwhile, isn't a modern smartphone at all, but rather a dual-hinge device with "magic" e-ink keys that change from a standard dialer to a four-row QWERTY layout. Isn't it nice to have all that sorted out?

Breaking: LimeWire P2P network shut down by RIAA

Filed under: Internet, P2PThe New York District Court, at the request of the RIAA, has forced LimeWire to shut down its network and cease distributing its software. TorrentFreak has the full story, and updates will surely follow as more data becomes available.

That a U.S. federal judge would finally grant RIAA's request comes as a numbing shock to the system. Perhaps the RIAA simply drew the right judge -- this is the same Judge Kimba Wood that found LimeWire guilty of copyright infringement back in May -- or maybe the lawsuit just snowballed in gravitas until it became unignorable.

For those of you that use BitTorrent, you might be surprised to hear that LimeWire is still most-installed P2P application with a market share of 37% -- uTorrent, by far the largest BitTorrent client, only has a 14% market share. Office Mobile 15 job posting heralds "next wave of innovation"

With Windows Phone 7 and Office Mobile 2010 only just now making their big debut, it's time for Microsoft to focus on what's next. And based on this job posting over at LinkedIn, that's precisely what they're doing.

The post seeks a test lead for Microsoft's business division in Hyderabad, and they hope to build on what they feel is already a "breakthrough for Microsoft in the mobile market." The Office Mobile 15 team's goal? To "
define and build the next generation of software and services for mobile professionals."

Microsoft began recruiting new Windows Phone 8 team members as far back as April of this year, so it certainly makes sense to finish assembling the group who will be responsible for the OS' flagship app. [And, judging by that image, let's hope that WP8 will feature a landscape orientation... -Ed]
